Preliminary Layout

This week I worked on outlining more of the details of my project.  There are still exact details that I have yet to decide upon, but the basics ideas are here.  Masthead:   CounterCulture , Flow Intellect,  Cultureprism     Main Image:   A   fanciful, colorful drawing/art piece  of a  young woman/girl reading a book while sitting down, leaning against a large tree .  Around her is nature , a garden teeming with life.  It is not too busy as to overwhelm the senses but has a few flowers and plants.  The main shades are yellow, pink hues, and greens.  The sky takes up a  large portion of the top half with only a few  leaves/ branches dotting it and this is where the masthead and tagline are.       Tagline:   Accentuating the positive   …[ Also says Issue No.: and April or May]     Typography/Font :   This font is Constantia and the sort of one I would like to use....

Peer Pitch and Concept Refinement Chart

  CATEGORY DETAILS Film OR Magazine Magazine Genre Special Interest Target Audience (Be specific) Readers/Intellectual people/ Older people/ Wealthy/ cultured (Men and women) What is your concept? Review the links on Blackboard) The front cover will be much like the New Yorker with a snappy piece of artwork.   It will feature a man reading the newspaper with coffee next to him and a woman reading a book with a drink as well.   I will have the title- as the masthead.   Unlike the New Yorker and several other literary magazines, there will be some other information like feature articles and a selling line on the cover as well.   The main article will be “The Art of Savoring the Moment” (title subject to change) and will be about taking the time to enjoy small activities like the one pictured and how this...
